I have used Bud's at least 5 times in the last two years and have 0 complaints and 0 regrets. even after the FFL transfer ( which you pay either way ) they have been cheaper than many of the shops around here
Thanks, all I have heard about Kahr is good things. I like the fit in my hand, although I have not had the opportunity to fire one. The gun dealer in the area with the best price would have to order it for me. So, I may just place my order.
Who's the gun dealer in the area and at what price? It's always good to hear about another (semi) local shop with good prices. That grabagun shop I mentioned earlier is in Coppell. Maybe you're looking at the same place since they are currently out of stock too it seems. Grabagun.com Kahr Arms Arms CW9 3.5 9MM POLY/STAINLESS 7+1 Online Gun Store
Go back and read an earlier post of mine; your question has already been answered before you asked it.

Great photo Texas Outlaw - boy, that's an outfit! Looks like they put everything in there but the kitchen sink! That's gotta be the most "complete" package I've ever seen a gun shipped with.
Thanks for the input doublenot7, yeah, it looks like the way the slide comes off, made it look like it had the same kind of breakdown as a 1911. The compact XDM looks like a great CC weapon. Gotta luv that little Picatinny rail too! Guess I'll see what they're going for at the Dallas gun show this weekend.

That sounds like a good price nearby at Grab-a-Gun. I'll have to check them out too.
I have only talked to them on the phone and they did not have it in stock either. Waiting to see if their distributor has this available. It is $1 lower than Bud's and I don't have to pay a FFL fee, although I do have to pay sales tax, so; it is about a wash.
Looks like both these places have good prices if they can get the guns.

Sporting arms is a great place, but they don't have a retail location, so they pretty much never have anything in stock.
I went to Grab a Gun in Coppell yesterday and they said that they have a CW9 in stock, it would just have to be transferred from another warehouse. Their prices are very close to Bud's on the gun and slightly higher on accessories. If I buy from Bud's I don't have to pay sales tax and there is a place near me that can do a $10 FFL transfer. So, saving $25-30 buying online.
Have you had good luck with Bud's Gun Shop online?

That's been my problem with grab a gun. They seem to interpret things differently than I do and don't always answer your questions as direct as you'd like. In stock means in stock, not in stock at the distributor and I can have it tomorrow or the next day. In stock means I can walk out the door with it now.
Bud's is a good place, you just have to check pricing. Sometimes either of the local places might be close enough that's it's worth getting it local, other times not.
Be sure to post up a review and range report after you get it.
Thought I'd post up my latest project. Built this one from the ground up. Started with a stripped lower and a bag of parts. First trip to the range is next Friday.
Got my Kahr CW9 from Bud's today and picked it up from Lewisville Pawn.
It's kinda stiff, so been racking it to loosen it up. Took it apart; cleaned it and oiled it.
Looking forward to taking it to the range to shoot it.
Time to go buy your assault rifles before they try and out law them again because of that nut job in Colorado! I've heard a few times on the news about changing gun laws because of the shooting. It's too late to start out lawing guns by about 236 years. Instead states should start making it easier to carry a concealed gun. Seemed to me anyone with a halfway decent shot could have taken him out. Luckily for most of those people in that theater that turd was a lousy shot.
I'm thinking it's going to be more than assault rifles that fly off the shelves. All this media talk of gun control is going to scare people into going and buying a gun before they are banned. And just when pricing was getting reasonable again.
The media is making it worse. I've heard a few people say how Yahoo will edit their pro-gun comments below the articles and make them disappear, leaving only the ones that agree with more control.
I think there is something you are all forgetting. When it comes time,,, all the firearms that you have and are on record,,, they will come knocking on your door. How far are you willing to go to keep them. You better hope that MOST law enforcement and military will do the right thing. BUT by what happened with law enforcement in New Orleans,,, they went to the dark side. Any of you that have seen combat know that when the S?????t hits the fan,,, things can get real ugly...
