Sorry to hear about the deer interrupting Bo's deposit. Everyone knows... you can't rush perfection.

Heading up towards Portland tomorrow to compete in the NHRDA ISSPRO Pacific Coast Diesel Nationals at PIR on Saturday. Gonna get to see Clay, Peter, Nick and the boys which will be an added plus. This will be my first time racing out of our division, so it should be fun. Those Division 1 guys are always coming down here to race the Division 2 races and they generally do quite well...we're gonna see if we can't go up there and give them a taste of their own medicine.
Gonna be a busy next few weeks between this, dove hunting on Labor Day and the World Finals in Kansas on Sept 10th. Got a couple of jobs to squeeze in there too.
Seems like all the exciting stuff happens on drill weekends. I'll have my own shop before I ever make it out to another tech day. (Going to have to open a fab. shop just so I can justify trips to truck stuff as a work expense.) Pretty sure I still owe Clay a beer for something, although I've forgotten why. Have fun - and keep us posted on race results.
I'll be stuck working this weekend.
(Driving boats with guns while Uncle Sam cover's the fuel cost.) All things considered... it could be worse.
Seems like all the fun stuff happens on the same weekend. Sucks having to decide... not that contractual obligations leave much to be decided in this case.
