I've been curious about that too. We've got a perfect south facing roof exposure.
When we bought our new fridge, there was an SCE rebate. I think it was $50. They sent a truck out to pick it up for free, and it gets recycled. It was good for us, since we didn't want to keep it and would have had to get it picked up anyway. The info was on the SCE web pages.
We have a refrige in the house and an older one in the garage and I know that thing is affecting our bill. We are kinda sorta looking to see if there are any of those gov incentives/rebates out there that would kinda ease the cost to replace the 8 year old one in the house and move it to the garage and get rid of the old one out there.

He was catching flack from OC Diesel (Huntington Beach) about the similarity of the name. I think he finally decided to give them their wish, since he really didn't want anyone to confuse his shop with those hacks anyway.

Smart move on Bud's part. A lot of guys might be called liars if someone ended up at the HB shop after hearing about Bud's reputation.
