I've still got some foreign bugs in the grille...mostly dragonflies, but there's a couple of those real oily yellow monsters in there too. I'm gonna add to them this weekend
Hopefully you didn't import any foreign bugs into Cali!....lol
I'm also gonna be taking it in for a service soon...new brakes, fluids, there's a sound that's coming from my front wheel I think like a rattle or bearing or something.
Also lately my a/c has been acting up and has really seemed to make it hesitate on take-offs...at first didn't think it was that and just that I needed to clean my K&N. I've always heard the phrase of if I remember correctly "charge the a/c" ?
Unless the a/c has a leak it shouldn't need to be charged, Steph. Is it blowing cold air?
yeah...it only blows cold are while actually on "a/c"...it's kinda weird cuz on my dads 250 even with just vents and not a/c it's still cool.
also when the a/c is off but then turned on you can literally hear the engine make a deep "woooofff" sound
I think I wanna look into a better or possibly add another battery...cuz it's seems like it takes a lot to turn it over...got the HID's, compressor for airlift rear bags, gps touchscreen
Yeah, Sean...I'm curious to know the answer to Marv's question too...seems like you're constantly clocking miles on that 'scurge.
Heading up towards Portland tomorrow to compete in the NHRDA ISSPRO Pacific Coast Diesel Nationals at PIR on Saturday. Gonna get to see Clay, Peter, Nick and the boys which will be an added plus. This will be my first time racing out of our division, so it should be fun. Those Division 1 guys are always coming down here to race the Division 2 races and they generally do quite well...we're gonna see if we can't go up there and give them a taste of their own medicine.
Gonna be a busy next few weeks between this, dove hunting on Labor Day and the World Finals in Kansas on Sept 10th. Got a couple of jobs to squeeze in there too.
