Don't be bringin that heat back with ya. We don't need it, don't want it.

Cloudy still this morning, and almost looks like it could rain. It won't.

Hey Steve, Santa Fe is a lot nicer and it's an hour closer to where you are...

And, a lot easier to spell! I would have had to look up Albuquerque without a doubt.

Right. And Taos is closer yet and easiest of all to spell.

How can Santa Fe be closer to anywhere in Oklahoma except maybe Guymon?

If Steve's on 44/40, Santa Fe is out of the way. I intentionally made that detour from Albuquerque to Santa Fe, and then back to 40 at Clines Corners a couple of years ago. Marge wanted to see Santa Fe. She wasn't impressed like she was with Sedona.

I gotta' say that Santa Fe is out-of-the-way, by at least two hours.

And there's a heckuva' lot more available rooms in ABQ than any other place in the region.

I drove around town in a Mercedez powered Sterling 5 Yard dump truck today. I didnt like it at all. I would have much rather had the F650.. It shifted weird and made funky noises.. But either way, it was still a fun truck to drive

Made my truck feel like a BMW

Didn't want to try spelling Albaturkey again so we went to Gallup instead

Drove through thunderstorms in OKC and Moriarty. Long day.

You make the assumption that he is coming from Texas on the route that you took. Could be true. But if you have a map, look at the layout of the states. Regardless of the roads, Santa Fe is east of Albuquerque and Taos is east of Santa Fe. Which makes me technically correct. And either you are jar koff or you don't know a joke when you see one!

BTW, geographically speaking, Santa Fe is closer to "everywhere" in Oklahoma.

You're just that much closer to home, then.

If you get a hustle on, you can be home tomorrow night, but it's a long drive!

My first night-stop going east is sometimes as far as Tucumcari, but once-in-a-while I only get as far as Grants before I call it quits. It takes a real early start out of here to do that, but it's do-able.

Yes, yes it is a LONG way!

My personal record was on 30-31DEC66, Van Nuys to Nashville, TN.

I-10, 20, ,30, 40.

I-40 was not yet completed out west. It was over 2100 miles in 46 hours.

As an E-2, I went home for Christmas with the intent of taking my car back to where I was stationed in the Air Force. I put my departure off until the last minute and had to basically drive straight-through. I got signed into the Day Room at about 2330, so I was "on time", but there are about forty miles south of Texarkana that "disappeared". I remember telling myself that I would be stopping there for gas, but the very next minute, there was the off-ramp in front of me!

I was twenty years old at the time, and really stooopid!

I just didn't know it.

Anyone know if a Rhino will fit in the bed of a 6'9 standard bed? I'm still overseas so I don't have my truck or the rhino here to measure. Curious if the rhino will fit in the bed of the truck. If the front wheels are on the front side of the wheel wells, would that put the front of the rhino in the back window of the truck?

Thanks guys.
