I'm not sure about some of the other cars he drove, but I do know the Tiger was his own, personal car he drove for years. After he was done with it he handed it down to his son, who promptly totaled it.

So why go to the effort of rebranding the Alpine as a Tiger. He drove enough cars that it wouldn't make a difference.
Bummer that is son totaled the car. Kids these days!
I long for tv shows that actually told a full story in one episode. Now everything is a mini series that can last for many season. Dang that gets old, if I wanted soap operas I would watch them.....sorry end of rant.

Here is a picture to distract from my rant.

There are more from this site. https://www.gypsyjournalrv.com/2013/...e-oddball-rvs/

Simply for the sake of continuity in the series. If the idea portrayed is he's driving the same car, it needs to look the same. The beauty is there's not a lot of external differences between the Alpine and the Tiger, so it would be easy to make a look-a-like. The Alpine and Tiger fender emblems have the same mounting pin locations, so it's as easy as removing the Alpine badge and installing the Tiger nameplate.
