THANKS Bill I'll look there. I'm also taking everyones advice I read about restoring it and just making it safe to drive for her first, got some seatbelts ordered and finally found a blinker switch then Hannah and I will just let the old girl talk for herself we are pretty much leaning toward original (thank God) I appreciate all the knowledge I'm gaining here

White 66 good to see that truck looks the way it did years ago. I was trying to come up with the cash to buy it when it was in the Truck Trader a long time ago.

66 still looking good.

Thanks for the note, as you can see I never sold it. To many people wanting to trade for stuff I don't want or no $$$. If you are still interested let me know, I am looking at other projects these days. How is your truck?

My 66 has been in my hands now for 22 years and has seen a frame off resto and still gets driven. Last week end I even decided to take it to get some firewood, she seemed to enjoy a little four wheeling and log hauling. As far as buying it thats kinda out of the question these days, 2 kids in college and three slicks, nah wanna stay married Of course that being said I would like the first right of refusal if you decide to put it up for sale, ya never know somebody might want one of mine.

Hi everyone,
Has anyone got one of those brackets that attach inside the door of my '66 F100, or know who sells them? The shrubs lining my driveway reached out and broke it off while I was pulling out....
Also, is that mirror in the pic one of the mentioned 5x8s? It's more like 5.5x7.75. I have a matching one on the driver's side and am hoping that they are originals.
Thanks

Look at the pic of the non telescoping mirror in post #22. Type the numbers that you need, post them. I'll look around...it's possible that a source may have them NOS

Thanks for the offer but it doesn't appear that mine is any of those in post #22. It is telescoping though.
And I found the bracket at Dennis Carpenter.

Western Jr. Mirrors

NumberDummy, could you check and see if any of the C1TZ-17696-D mirrors are still available? I read your earlier post that 6 were available NOS but I am unable to PM you for the vendors. You can PM me or Email at msbarney1981@att.net. Thanks, Bill!

Mike

All outside mirrors were an option or an accessory, all were installed by the dealers.
