For ignition Im gonna run duraspark II, vac advance stock replacement dizzy. The plan for this engine has always been low rpm power, and everything ive bought for it plans for a top rpm of about 6k. I think the duraspark can handle that.

I know for a fact dura spark will run 6800 rpms, so you should be good. Just make sure to keep a extra box with you at all times. They go out at the worst times

That's all I do with the pickup anymore. In 4th on the hwy it runs anywhere between 2500-3500 rpms deppending how fast I run. It won't hold 5th unless its not windy out witch isn't very offten around here. Thoes trick flows look good too, I saw some iron heads with simular specs too...

Than it runs 1000 less rpms if I remember right.
