And just as sad is that Denny's has survived!

It don't get much worse than Denny's! I won't even eat there while on a cross-country. Even at 0300 and they're the only thing open!

Just say NO!

You all need to make stuffed Spam chops...it takes a number of those little Spam animals to get enough to make into chops,,,but it is worth it.....split the chops and fill with tuna melt....then bake for one hour at 425...or until you cannot stand the stink in your house !

Served slightly chilled over a bed of radish greens

We went to the new 5 Guys Burger joint tonight. It's been open for a couple of weeks now. Pretty good burger, must have weighed a pound and a half. Their burgers are all double patty, and you just choose cheese or no, bacon or no. Wifie and I will get one and split it next time.

Got the Cajun style fries. I didn't think too much of their fries. The Cajun spice was good, but the fries were greasy and soggy. Not impressed with those.

Don't bother telling them whether it is to eat there or to go. It all comes in a brown paper bag, and they don't care if you stay or go.

I don't think In-N-Out has anything to worry about once the newness wears out. It's a different sort of place. Probably the only reason they get compared is the red and white tile decor.

Sorry, no pictures. Ate it too fast.

This is what I cooked up Sunday night.

Started with some USDA Prime ribeyes from the local butcher(a real one, not the grocery store).

Then chopped up some onions and mushrooms to sautee for a topping.

I wrapped up some asparagus in bacon and did some jalapeno poppers with cream cheese.

And the grand finale.....I also melted some blue cheese on the steak before topping with the mushrooms and onions.

Telegraph and Carmenita. I think that is Santa Fe Springs, or maybe South Whittier.

lol Steve. I wear them from time to time. I just don't wear them when I'm going to be doing a lot of standing or walking because the flat soles kill my back.

Buffalo Chicken Nuggets

I didnt have any winglets today, but I did have breasts. Last time I tied it with whole breasts it was just ok, so this time I cut them up. Better, but not as good as winglets.
