For the foodies out there, what kind of knives do you use in the kitchen? I've recently gotten into Japanese knives and while I only have 1 right now, I'm hooked. I will definitely be sticking with the J knives from now on. Here are a couple photos.
When we remodeled our kitchen about 10 years ago we got a complete block of Cutco, we keep them super sharp and I love them.
Some ahi poki I made....fresh ahi diced, green onions, little soy sauce, sesame oil, fresh grated ginger, agave nectar for a little sweetness, and sriracha.

Breakfast in the shop......onion bagel with sriracha, and a Monster. We actually kinda got sponsored if you wanna say that. They gave us a refrige, and fill it for free, us college kids wiped out 3 cases in about a week an a half, wish they would have filled it BEFORE finals started haha.
We tried a new (to us, anyway) place last night; Ricci's Italian Deli & Restaurant on the West side of Bellflower Blvd just South of the 91. Dinners come with soup and salad, beverage, and a small bowl of ice cream or spumoni for dessert. It's not a fancy place...in fact, it's kind of a hole-in-the-wall...but it's clean, and both the food and the service were great.
Then I must assume that you calling attention to "past tense" has nothing to do with the length of time since they were made, but to the probability that they no longer exist!
