I am a food addict.

Although I donʻt have photos to share, some good friends

of my wife and I, treated us to a sushi dinner last night.

I ate the left over when I got home too.

I am a food addict.

Homemade butternut squash soup, smoked and grilled pork loin, and salad. The soup had butternut squash with carrots, leaks, and very little seasoning, it was soooo simple to make, but amazing flavor. The only addition next time will be a yellow bell pepper.

Some hot sauce I made. Roasted habanero, ghost chile, garlic, sauteed onions.

I've always heard of these ketchup packets and finally got one at the Wendy's joined with the Pilot gas station off the 395.

Some fresh cooked bacon in butterscotch chocolate

For the foodies out there, what kind of knives do you use in the kitchen? I've recently gotten into Japanese knives and while I only have 1 right now, I'm hooked. I will definitely be sticking with the J knives from now on. Here are a couple photos.

Just opened up a set of Wushtof Gourmet series knives I've had in the box for a few years. They have taken the place of the mismatch set I had. They are definitely more user friendly and easier to care for since they are stainless, but I am still blown away at how sharp my Hiromoto AS is. Definitely going to be continuing to grow the collection of japanese knives as money allows. Definitely a lot of fun, but deserve a lot more respect because of how sharp they are.
