Wow, strange. Is there anything near the valve that can pull it open? Any hoses near it?
A bungy cord should be able to keep em shut but that should not happen.
The valve is close to the rear axle. By close I would say 16 inches. Nothing pulling on the extension rod to the handle. If anything where it goes through the belly pan should help keep it closed.
We are heading into the local RV dealer to look at some LED strip lighting tomorrow. I will see if they have any ideas!

I was told it is 37 feet but I will need to measure so I know total including tung and bumper.
Mine is a 33 but it is closer to 38 with the luggage rack down. You have a nice looking Sheraton on wheels.
I would recommend you level the rear of the EX out through weight distribution and not bags, you look tongue heavy. A Hellwig sway bar will help the rear end stability, bags will stiffen the suspension but you do not want to level with them.
If sway becomes a problem you may want to look at a ProPride hitch, they are expensive but well worth the money.
The family and I went to pickup or new home away from home. Towed great but I think I am going to install airbags to level the truck.
Nice looking TT.
You may want to run the combo over a CAT scale to determine the actual tongue weight vs what your WD hitch is rated at, you may be able to increase the weight rating of the WD spring bars to bring the rear of the EX back up.
We just got home a few hours ago from a two week plus camping trip up and around Lake Ontario, we love every day that we are out and about in the trailer!

When you put the truck and trailer on the scale do you weigh the trailer separate from the truck and also connected? The factory empty tongue weight label is saying around 960lbs and the weight distribution bars are 1200lbs bars.
I have looked at the RAS system online but have not really seen or heard of any comparison to airbags to know what would be the better option for the weight of the trailer that I will be towing. So far the leaf springs have been upgraded front and back to what Cary advises and a rear sway bar has been added.

I do three weights; the truck and trailer, trailer alone, truck alone.
