i spent $100 at carrs today and they have a special program going on that gave me a extra 20cent discount ontop of my 10cent discount. so thus giving you a 30cent discount. its only good till 3/7/11 so it says anyhow.
how in the world do you still have a 02 excursion in minnesota with no rust holes thru it?
Maintenance, bro, and lots of it! I do have a little rust on the pinch weld on the bottoms of the doors that just started showing up this winter, and the hitch I have to sand and respray every spring. That's whats going to kill my X is the rust
I just went cross country pulling a 14 ft enclosed trailer and fully loaded back with kids wife and dog and had to fill my beast up 3 times a day ranging from 4 mpg to 7 mpg depends on hills 140 bucks a fill up that was a nice chunk out of my bank account.
i filled the excursion up the other night and shes been parked since. my expedition gets about a solid 1mpg better in town. which isnt much but i figure it all helps. the expedition goes into the bodyshop on march 14th so i think i'm going to drive it mainly untill then.
roads have been so dry, and no new snow in the forcast...even though i know we're going to get a big dump. i've been debating on putting my summer wheels/tires back on...hmm

Az2ny, now that sounds like an adventure! Wife, kids and dog in a 14' enclosed trailer while on a cross country trip! Nice! Did you give them bathroom breaks during your gas stops?
we arent too far behind the melting/rain...few months we'll see. i'm not looking forword to it. march and april are known as "brown truck months" because the road spray keeps them a nasty thick brown color lol
i think i'm gonna drive the excursion tomorrow. i miss the rumble of the unmuffled V10
