yeah im not sure why my 5.4 uses some and none of the other trucks do. and all the others have more miles. it doesnt leak any..bone dry under it but it just goes into never-never land. maybe into the pile of socks that the dryer eats? lol
im so excited to get the rear end lifted up! i'm so so sick of the prerunner look.
My V codes have been here since Friday, my blocks are coming from a different ford warehouse, but will be here this week. Having busy week, won't be able to install until end of next week. Getting excited. Dealer doing install, but I never leave my baby. So I need about 5 hours to hang out.

Cool, I didn't have that option...my right side sags about 1/2 inch more than my left. So, I needed to have the springs done. Also only going upto 285's so really don't need any more lift.
I do agree with you on that prerunner look, just looks like truck is loaded with home depot crap!
funny part is i dont think i'll ever be going past stock size tires. since i only have 3.73s i dont want to loose any power. 285s are possible but i really dont want to go bigger. i like having alittle more room in the wheel wells and the taller stance.
what size are you running now? i have 235/85 and cant wait to get a bigger tire LOL. i also have the 3.73s and no way can afford 4.10s or 4.30s for bigger tires right now.

every engine uses and leaks oil, you just are not noticing it because its a small ammount. also why did you go with that oil? u should have got one of the good synthetic oils like rotella its got allot more zinc in it.
stock size on the excursions is 265/75 16. i did run 235/85s in the winter on my old excursion and didnt mind how it looked. i like a tall narrow tire though.
if it used or lost any it did not show on the dipstick at all. choose it because it was cheaper at the time(and both the expedition and excursion needed oil changes). i normally use mobile-1 full synthetic but the pennzoil seems just fine, hell of alot better then the cheapest dino oil the dealer had in there! i'm going with a 5-7k mileage change. i check it often every other fillup normally.
i know its getting all jumbled, i thought he was talking to me lol
on a side note, much like tires, spark plugs, oil and oil filters always bring out peoples opinions...and like they say an opinion is like a ******* everyone has one haha!
