allrighty well after my last thread went down in flames lets see if we can start over.

heres the basics, i bought this pretty clean well taken care excursion on 10/30/10 15 days after my black 2000 excursion was toatled in a headon collision.

the basics
2002 Limited V10 4x4 red over tan and it had 102k miles when i got her.

mods so far have been:

5STAR tune /SCT3 tuner

straight pipe exhaust with 4" chrome tip

2" lift shackles for the front

8000k bi-xeon 55w headlights and 12000k foglights wired as DRL's

ford factory splash gaurds painted to match

bug deflector painted to match

tinted and flipped taillights

15" subwoofer with a 800W amp



Future mods and some on the way are:

10 brand new coils with boots

new grill

new corner lights

F-350 4" rear blocks/ubolts

full LED taillights

hideaway strobe light system

and much much more i hope!

strobes are for fun basicly...

flipped the taillights because it looks cool, sets it apart from other excursions. the 5star tune i have is a proformance tune. its for the motor and tranny. really makes the V10 come alive. it does help the shift patterns and firmness but thats just a small part of what the SCT3 tuner does.

i got my new coils in today, so i'm going to be in the garage tonight working on her...pics and stuff coming up....

well i put my new Ebay coils in. paid $120 for the set shipped and man they made a huge differance. the stockers were in bad shape and she was still missing. has alot more power now and no missing! yahoo! plus they are a cool yellow color that has to add 10HP right? i'll keep everyone updated of how they hold up..seems alot of people have had good luck with them. we'll see but for the price i could not beat it.

btw yes i know under the hood is a huge mess of dirt but i'm scared to clean it! maybe this summer.
