for about a 3 week period we had no snow/sleet/freezing rain/etc, anything to cause massive amounts of chemicals on the road, so our CT chapter had a gtg we hung out, washed/cleaned trucks. then the next day i spent 3 hours waxing my truck. and then we got 2" of snow the next day LOL
yeah luckly we dont use any de-icers so its just pure mud bascily. the problem is the roads are dry but the snowbanks..ect all melt onto the roads causing huge puddles and wet roads and that horrid brown road spray.
i've allready gone through 3 gallons of washer fluid this month!
Alaskan Ex, today I went to the dealer for my install, turns out they ordered wrong u bolts for rear, I did a cut and paste from your pics today, new ones should be in by Thursday. Also, they did not have my front u bolts, I figured I would pop new ones on since I've heard it's not a good idea to reuse old.
I will post new pics by weekend if all goes well.
i hope they get the correct ones LivingLarge, mine i think are for trucks w/the overload spring because they seem alittle too long but they had enough threads to get bolted down very sucure. make sure to post the pics!!!!
well, i have a important thing going on tomorrow morning, even though they are calling for snow tonight i went ahead and washed the excursion anyhow..it had been too long! looks all fresh and clean now not for long though
