IF it stays above 30 degrees here in Indiana this weekend, think I will try flipping my tai llights too. Great idea hope you don't mind the copycat feature.....
its a bar/restraunt. love that place. i've been having lunch there every sunday for weeks now. there cajan pasta is amazing.
i'm gonna try running prem/90 - 93 for awhile... heres my current MPG's
Nice, i thought for sure my truck got the worst mpg lol <a href="http://www.fuelly.com/driver/acfirecat6/f250-super-duty" target="_blank"><img src="http://www.fuelly.com/sig-us/50329.png" width="500" height="63" alt="Fuelly" title="Share and compare MPG at Fuelly" border="0"/></a>
yeah i def was not the first to do that! never took claim to it either. i'd seen it done a few times and there was a thread recently about it.
we'll see what the MPG does...im honestly not too worried about it. i never bought it to be a gas sipper. the excursion has protected me in a bad crash...so i look at it like paying for insurance/saftey.
well i put my new Ebay coils in. paid $120 for the set shipped and man they made a huge differance. the stockers were in bad shape and she was still missing. has alot more power now and no missing! yahoo! plus they are a cool yellow color that has to add 10HP right? i'll keep everyone updated of how they hold up..seems alot of people have had good luck with them. we'll see but for the price i could not beat it.
btw yes i know under the hood is a huge mess of dirt but i'm scared to clean it! maybe this summer.
before
the new coils
installed
the nasty old coils
Are u still happy with the coils? im thinking about getting some
yeah the coils are working great!! not one miss since replacing the terrible stock units. i've got about 450miles on them so far i think. noticed more power too, just telling me how bad the stock coils were.
today i finally did somthing i'd been wanting to do for awhile. painted that chin spoiler below the bumper. took me forever to find a decent match to the tan molded plastic. i used some outdoor spray paint since i figured this will catch all the rocks and crap so with it being spray paint its easy touchup! quick easy mod for limted owners.
