Found this truck for sale in my travels. Its an 86 shortbed, 302 EFI, auto, 4x4, dual tanks. They want $4,900(too much I think). I think its had a new paintjob, and it has new exhaust. Rust free frame to boot.
The tailgate looks repainted. Missing it's pinstripe to seperate the colors.
The sides could be repainted as well, but why pinstripe the sides, and not finish the tailgate... ?
The truck is definately repainted. It looks to be somewhat professional, because the paint was inside the door jam, and there was a sharp line around the door jam sticker which is still readable. New paint was under the rubber floor mat too. (The doors were unlocked)
Also, the paint seemed thick. Not sure why.
As for the tailgate, I think the white should have continued up to the top of the handle opening with the pinstripe.
See this truck running around town occasionally. F350. Didn't want to go in the guys yard, so excuse the less than stellar pic.
Diggin' the turbine wheels. I would spend good money to get a set for my truck. I saw a set of what appeared to be perfect 15x10 turbines on a trailer at my local scrapyard, but they don't have a resale license so I couldn't get 'em.
