sweet 86 blue always looked good on these bullnoses in my opinion. Only thing I never cared for is the bumper gaurds and running boards but still great looking truck.

Nice truck. Pretty clean. How much they asking? That one looks to be a 1986...what's with the tailgate? Trim option?
Theyre asking $3495. Here's the listing 1986 Ford F-250 Diesel 4x4 Antique
If it was an extended cab I would scoop it up. It has the 6.9 with 85000 miles! The tailgate trim is part of the Lariat package. Only made for 2 years.

Ya and that tailgate trim sometimes can be extremely hard to find.

The 86 we use to have had it like that underneath the tailgate panel. Looks good in my opinion if you paint the letters like you have but if you have it like our 86 did (solid blue) to me it looks funny.
Here is a couple for sale nearby us:
86 F150 351W reminds me of our old 86 but no trim. Personally I would ditch the bumper gaurds and trim type bumper and call it good: 1986 f150 351w
And this one would be perfect around my area 83 F150 302 with winch: 1983 F-150 4x4 Truck

The one in my avatar is the third tailgate that has been on it and each one had factory painted letters. I like it that way since it stands out that your driving a ford. I wish ford would bring that back.
The entire truck is a rot box now though. I still love it. It has character. It's an 85 250
