What have you done to your truck today?

The sig option will show up eventually. It can take up to 24hrs for the system to update your status.

Attempting to get my tail/marker/plate/instrument lights to work, again. Put in a new headlight switch (the old one had damage and a short on the rheostat) and taped up some mouse chewed wires. Still blowing the fuse, and now that I have the bezel off I can see that it is smoking from somewhere down in the main loom, where I can't see anything. Gonna have to take my manual with me tomorrow and see if the wiring diagram sheds any light, but this is really pissing me off now.

Didn't get squat done today, mostly enjoyed my turkey day and shopped around online for some gaskets/seals for my upcoming project. Got the motor/trans out of my parts truck a couple days back so now I gotta seperate the trans and get started pulling my truck down so that I can start the build.
...And quit posting "nothing yet"...here.

Worked on running the tailpipes on my truck, as of now the exhaust ends right behind the cab, so it is terrible sounding and drones so badly stuff is starting to rattle loose in the interior. Going to be true duals, so I have to fab the pipes from scratch, since they don't make anything for the I6. Also found out that trying to use a stick welder for exhaust work is a bitch , going to have to wait to use a decent MIG or TIG in school Monday.

So my last post in this thread was too early as I never got around to changing the fouled plugs in my truck that day.
The truck refused to start after rebuilding the carb. I just replaced the spark plugs today... and WOW! It fires up quicker than my 2006 Infiniti.
Evidently the carb rebuild "calmed" the engine down. It's idling MUCH smoother, not shaking the entire cab to death, and the engine no longer looks like it's gonna rock off of the mounting blocks.
Thanks FTE!
