If you have a battery charger you can use it to roll up your windows, if not, yes, you can use a battery.

Getting ready to go pick it up from getting the windows tinted today. I also have to find the time to replace the passenger side exhaust manifold which i am not looking forward too...

Today I replaced my carburetor gasket and spacer. I was hoping it'd fix my rough idle, but I noticed no difference. Oh well, I needed to do it anyway, the gaskets I had were like five or six years old.

Tomorrow I hope to be able to find the time to clean and regap my spark plugs.

Well, i cleaned up my trailer hitch and knocked off all the surface rust and peeling paint. I repainted it with Rustoleum and touched up the steel ceter section of my chrome step bumper- all the while giving a how-to lesson to my 14 yr old daughter that i bought the truck for in the first place. Also went to the parts store to by oil and a filter so i can show her how to change oil for the first time this weekend. Thats if it ever stops raining here in oregon (doubtful). Last check, she was on line pricing out a new interior on LMC Truck's Website. Im off to a great start and te truck has only been in the driveway a week

Okay that's awesome!

The Midwest is being hit with a pretty bad storm at the moment that only recently left
here and snow wouldn't surprise me at all. Supposedly gonna take a few days for air traffic
to return to normal at the Chicago airports

it isn't unusual for it to snow near the end of october. we're already dipping into the low 30's at night. the storm that just moved through was supposed to have snow at the tail end of the storm... but thank goodness, no snow yet. i am NOT looking forward to the snow flying. according to the farmer's almanac it's supposed to be bitter cold with not much snow this season. every time this year i contemplate moving back to tennessee... we'll see.

Sweet! It's interesting to see a black interior with that outer color combo.

It's funny about your donor truck, because the truck I pulled my interior out of was also an 80-86 with an 87-91 front clip and a newer bed.
