I had never heard of them before, they do look nice

I fought with those panels too, headliner isn't easy going in either. The back panel if I remember I installed one corner in the cab and then the other to the centre panel and installed it to the one I installed first and bowed it out enough in the centre to clip it to the door post. I didn't do any trimming

I came across them by accident just through Google searching one night I was pretty nervous to order through them because nobody had really heard of them, but I called down there and talked to the guy for probably half an hour. They are quite a bit more expensive than Rod doors but a completely different design as well. But at the same time, they are just ABS plastic. The doors do have two inserts that come out that are magnetically attached

I don’t wanna trim anything, but I’m thinking I might have to

The corners of my carpet where they come up I think I need to trim that

I’m not really sure how to get rid of this gap it gets tight at the top on the passenger side

This is how the top looks. The plastic clips where it’s melted together, broke right at the very top so I gotta figure out how to glue that back together so it holds. But I think the middle piece needs to be trimmed at the bottom so it sits flush better

I don’t think there’s much I can do about that gap because the headliners pushed all the way forward, so I don’t really know what I can do there if anything

The driver side, middle piece fits a lot better. I think just minor trimming on the underside of it.

I had some of those clips break off too and used plumbers ABS glue and clamped it. the bottoms of the side wings can be trimmed so they lay down better. I'm going to need to do that on the one I'm doing now, Don't remember needing to do it before. After the fire they had I wonder if the new moulds are as good as the old ones. I was going to buy a complete interior package from them but after the fire they had I was only lucky enough to get the headliner ,I haven't got to that point yet..
Is the headliner fully set down in the back window rubber ?

I didn’t know they had a fire. That’s never good. That must be why some things are different.
it’s almost like the back center piece is about an 1/2”-3/4” to wide and you really have to fight to get it in. And I can’t get rid of this gap at the bottom and it’s tight at the top.
I did trim the upper piece a bit an it’s fitting better

the headliner is in the clips and pushed all the way ahead and fits nicely around everything except they one spot on the passenger side.

I got the kick panels fitting pretty good. Just some. Not trimming I did mostly on the driver side

I like those kick panels and how nicely they fit but they wouldn't work on the one I'm doing now as I'm using a foot pedal parking brake and think it would be too tight..
Could you use one of those trim push pins? I'm planning on using these to fasten my door panels one my build..

That’s a good idea. I haven’t really of how to mount them yet. And I happen to have a box of those push clips. I’ll look at the door ls closer. The top
and bottom sections are removable, so that might make mounting them fairly easy

Couple of setbacks. My floor mats are being sent back to Alabama and they are gonna try and trim them with measurements and dimensions that I’ve given them because they just don’t fit. The guy that I’ve been dealing with that NOS reproductions has been more than willing and very helpful.

Also just spent half hour on the phone with a guy from Rod’s doors about my passenger side rear panel not fitting very well. I sent an email just asking how I can close the gap up a little bit. When all three panels are in it’s under a lot of tension and very tight at the top to her. It’s actually broke the top clip on the inside. as it turns out, they have two different templates and he’s wondering if maybe I was sent the wrong one. So I gotta do some measuring and we’ll get that problem sorted out as well. These pictures show it with the driver side panel taken out. The gap is much larger.

these pictures showed it with the driver side in. Under a lot of attention, but the gap is pushed together.

so far, everyone that I’ve talked to is been really good to deal with. The only problem is the border. This is one of the struggles that we face Canadians.

While I had my doors apart and the windows all out so I can put in the new window channels and anti-rattle kit, my new vent windows should be here this week. Even though the rear window window already had that brownish factory tint to it I decided to tint everything.

All my flat glass is sitting in Thunder Bay for pick up, it was supposed to come to my door. They would have drove 300 miles past my place and they expect me to pick it up there..
Never have anything shipped by Canpar, they are idiots..

Ohhh dam that’s sucks John. Hopefully they will fix the problem for you.

I finally bought a new windshield, and of all places I ordered it from Summit Racing. They are an authorized dealer for auto metal direct. I ordered a couple other things to go with it and because I spent over $300 they’ll ship for free. All I had to do is pay my duties and because it’s no oversized box there was an $80 oversize fee. I can’t buy that windshield up here for that price and I’ve been searching. I found a green tinted one in Regina but I think they wanted $600 for it and I didn’t want the green tinted

I have my windshield but haven't taken it out of the crate yet. Not sure yet if I'll need to do the same as you did as regards to tinting. Will see if it ever gets here..

Did you order the factory smoked tinted windows?

They haven’t shipped my windshield yet hopefully won’t be long. They have to wait till it’s in stock at their Ohio warehouse. But he said they could pull one from their Texas warehouse.

I have a 56 rear window, grey tint I am not going to use. If someone needs it let me know. I would have to find where I bought it.
