I hate feeling like a DAN. I took off work of my second job for a family dinner thing Saturday evening and don't work there sunday or monday.. I feel like a damn bum.. I did work at job #1 this morning though, but blah.

My good friend got into a motorcycle accident last night, Kris met him at his bachelor party. Dan, he hit the back of a tractor trailer that had no lights on apparently. He lost his his left arm. I hate that ****.

is he at least right handed? it sucks that it happened, but it would suck ten times worse to have to learn to do everything with your opposite hand.

He always mixed it up. Played guitar lefty, threw a football lefty, wrote righty I think. ****. He's still in ICU last I heard. ****in' A I hope he wasn't out celebrating about Bin Laden's worthless *** (he's military and stationed in Ft Stewart in GA). God damn, what do I even say to him when I see him? At least he'll be set for life with disability and all from the military (I would think anyway) - he won't have to worry too much about that. Trying to find something positive, but damn.

Man this ****ing sucks! I give it 72 bazillion on a 1-10 sucks ***-o-meter.

I never know what to say in these situations either. My personality wants to make jokes because thats how I deal with stress or tragedy but thats never very well received. Just tell him Im thinking about him and wish a speedy recovery. - something classy and intelligent.
