Hitler was bad, not many people liked him...

i think your friend will be ok once the trauma wears off, and will see the humor in the one armed bandit jokes.

a very good friend of mine was in a shooting accident and lost his left eye when he was 19.
he spent 3 months in the hospital due to the severity of the wounds.
after he got out of the hospital he started with the pirate jokes while wearing an eye patch, and all kinds of other stupid things.

he has been gone almost 11 years now, and we all still miss him. he was the life of any place he went.

with all hard times he had, nothing bothered him, or could stop him until his enlarged heart gave out at age 41. at autopsy, they found the heart was 4 times the size it was supposed to be.

I am proud of the way I raised my sons, neither one has killed millions or destroyed any nations or even advocated genocide. Good boys. They are not cannibals either.

Turns out he may have not lost it, but there is still a possibility that he will. Bad info from his step mom, you'd think you'd make sure someone lost their arm before telling their friend's that.

Know what I hate? wiring harnesses.

I pulled the dash and harness out of George to re-do some things - namely do away with the metric crap-ton of wires that are totally useless to me.

Im highly considering buying a basic 12 circuit box and start from scratch with blade type fuses. Anyone done this before on a 73-79 truck?

I have wired cars build from scratch but not one of our trucks. It might seem the easy way out to start from scratch, but if you have not done it before you might be underestimating the amount of work involved.

Better, I think, to just be patient and sort out the problems with the existing electrical componants using the stock harness. (If it is not burned up (?))
