Know what I hate now? My local Napa.

First they pissed me off with the 390 rear sump pickup tube. Now they pissed me off saying Felpro 4150 carb to intake gaskets have been discontinued.

Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

a 4150 carb to intake gasket is probably the best selling of any 4bbl gasket sold today. Why would an insanely popular company such as Felpro discontinue it? News flash, they wouldnt.

Napa sucks and often swallows.

call em up and see if they discontinued sbc header gaskets too. maybe they decided why sell popular items anymore

i think you need a new parts store.

I know Mr. Gasket makes them, our local parts store always keeps a few in stock.

Yeah, there are several companies that make them. I guess bottom line is I either need to order the gaskets from Joe or take a 30min shot in the dark ride to the next nearest parts store.

I used to have a stack (5-6 maybe) hanging on the shop wall. I guess I used them :-(

Ive used cardboard more than once but this engine is for a friend. Id kinda feel bad about taking money from someone knowing I used a box of Cheerios to keep his carb sealed to the intake.

Anyone want some pics? nothing fancy 390 for a 76 F150

76 F150 4wd lwb. - has some crazy ghetto.....uuuggh, urban Americanfab under the front end but Im going to work on that next.

with a front sump pan so I could paint it

About 95% complete with the rear sump pan and pickup.

This is basically a stock build with an edelbrock performer intake and edelbrock 600cfm carb.
