what the hell did that start out as? a thunderbolt or something? i'm not too much on motorcycles even though i grew up with them all around me my whole life. they have cammed up sporty engines iirc, right? they are great for what they are, but yeah he's got 14 more cubes and a turbo, so that kind of kills any fairness even considering the weight difference.

It started out as a 2000 x-1 lightning. Here's another when I was building the fairing:
It's got 101hp @ 5700 and 108 lb/ft at 3000 at the rear wheel. Not bad considering the small bore and it's around 400lbs minus rider. I was orginally going to put the turn signals in the fairing, but ended up finding a set of mirrors with them built in so I cut the others out.
Also, it's put out the torque so fast that I broke the 3 row primary chain doing a full on throttle roll on at 25mph:

I could have beat that bike with my old CBR600.
As long as I picked the race track.
I had fun on the sand passing all the sport quads when they where racing.
Guys on dirt bikes **** when I'd fly past them in the woods. Lmao.

all these years, i thought it was an"R" series, and i went looking to google looking for a picture only to find out the first"R"series was in 53, and i actually had a 49 L-190 iternational.
anywho, here is a pic of what it looked like. mine was fire engine red with white lettering on the doors.

Local grocery store distribution center restored one of thier old trucks (bought it back about 10yrs ago) and they just happened to still have the first stainless trailer they ever used.
This is the only picture I could find of it online. not using the right search I guess but anyway.
My first truck was a 75 LNT-9000 ford with a shiney 290 put in a #10 button and pumped it up but dang did it roll the coal after I did that.

late 30's to early 50's were the coolest, most ornate, detailed, mechanically cool looking vehicles ever. they had style, class, personality, and they were just flat out plain effing cool as cat shyte in winter time.
