If you look below and to the right of your Alt. you'll see a spot in the casting (kind of a half moon shape) for the hose to fit. Very clean. I'll try and get a pic up later.

Confirmed the heater control valve is getting vacuum and actuating as expected.

Also picked up a low mileage factory sway bar from a fellow FTE'er whose FIL was kind enough to deliver it! Thanks for the great deal CPTMidnight

Today I went over 100k miles so it seemed like a good time to changed all the fluids except the washer fluid and Coolant (Shell ELC), did that 2 months ago. The engine got the 15/40 Ford stuff (changing to Shell T6 next change), the T-Case got Mercon V, the Transmission got 14 qts Mercon LV with new filters and a new Mag-Hytec pan, the Front Diff got almost 3 qts of 75w-90 Mobil 1, the Rear Diff got almost 4 qts of 75w-140 Mobil 1 and a new 08 Diff cover with SS Allen head bolts and lock washers.

Changed out console cup holder

Replaced my in console cup holder with the deeper version (part 1C3Z-3613562-AAA HLDR-BVRG CTR) $32.32 from the dealer before tax.

Change out takes about 5 minutes. Hope this means no more spilled drinks!

Can you post a pic? I'd like to see the difference. I have $32.32 burning a hole in my pocket and this may fit the bill.

Cup Holder Picture

There is a picture on this thread. It is where I got the idea. The part code I listed was for "Dark Parchment"

Go for it!

Hooked the Ex up to the car trailer and moved it around to the front of the house. Going to work on the trailer tomorrow to use this weekend. Going to load the Bronco up on the trailer for a trail ride on Saturday. Of course useing the Ex to tow the trailer.

I cut out the stock exhaust from just in front of the cat and replaced it with 3 1/2" pipe with a Bassani muffler. Will go back and replace the terrible Y pipe and headers at some point.

Been busy

Had my cracked windshield replaced with a F250 one thinking how nice it would be to have the third visor:

A note: The rear view mirror mount is higher on the F650 than they are on the Excursion. They had to trim the channel hiding the power wires to get it to fit back in, and now I see just a tiny bit of the roof console in the mirror. Now secretly hoping the mount 'comes off' so I can move it down an inch and a half. Was hoping it would be darker...anyone know if there is a variant of the tint that is darker than others?

Moved the UHF/VHF radio face to the top...routed the data wire that goes to the radio through the pocket in the Metra mount, inside the dash, under the center carpet and up through the wire hole for the CD changer, moving the main radio unit inside the center console right were the CD changer was...hoping it won't overheat now.

Still need to paint or powder coat the aluminum black to clean it up some. I don't like how it breaks up the dash lines, but when I need comms on a call, I end up bouncing around half a dozen channels so its a 'function over form' call.

Thinking I may mount an aux power port inside the dash and run the GPS power wire (that also has the traffic antenna integrated) behind the metra mount also...would open up a power port on the dash and make for a much cleaner install.

Wired the 650 switch illumination to the ignition circuit. After info from RiffRaff, they suggested no need to dim the illumination when they are engraved - they are much dimmer than non-engraved switches.

Put the external speaker for the UHF/VHF radio under the 650 dash as well as the traffic director controller.

Color of the switches match the Ford green DEAD ON

Yea? What do you do that you use them?

Have you seen the 4w led units from policelightz.com? I am running 4 of those in my grille.
