Oh come on . . . I grew up north of Pittsburgh and we used to go snake hunting all the time as kids. Copperheads are pretty shy about people. Never saw any rattlesnakes. Of course we didn't wear helmets when we rode our bikes and we drank water out of the tap.

My brother in law decided to remove the hedges from the front of his house. It took me two trips with my flatbed and trailer. Since he couldn't get his tailgate down, it would have taken 3 or 4 trips if I wasn't there.
He pulled the bushes with his truck. I wanted to try that with mine, but I didn't want to take the risk. It's fine if he tore up his truck.
Man I love using my truck as a work truck.

Two weeks ago a branch on an ornamental crab apple tree at our soccer complex hit me on the head as I mowed underneath it. I was always able to get under it before, now it was hanging lower. So last week I got out my chain saw. Here's a pic of my working truck hauling the branches to our landfill. We can dump brush for free. They chop it up to make mulch.

Remember Jolly Roger Joe's adventure pulling trees with his F-4?

Probably so. It was a farm truck, so no telling what they were trying to do. I was told the damage to the front fender was because the truck rolled into a hay baler. They also hit a stump hard and bent up the passenger side running board a bit. My truck had a grain bed on it, they would lift the front of the truck with a tractor to dump the contents. Now that I think about it, it's amazing the truck survived the farm.

truck and hoist
Here is mine I took a year and a half ago before I started restoring it, I also used it to haul all the landscaping around our house and flower gardens. The Twin cylinder Schwartz Truck Hoist really help unload all the rock on multiple spots.
Nice truck, my truck has a hoist although much earlier than yours. We use the truck regularly to haul some of the same stuff you do. I don't put much more than 6000 lbs in at a time though. Gets the job done.
