The frame rails and the chrome step bumper do not line up.......in my case. The bumper is from a newer truck with narrower frame rails.
If true, how did you make if fit ?

Hey! I did a dump run today too! No pictures, but hauled with my Bronco and matching trailer. Also, I looked at your picture and thought "that looks like where I used to go in Belfair" so I peeped your profile, and sure enough, you're in WA. It probably isn't the same dump/transfer station, but the trees and sky have that look.

Looking good, as a idea to slick up the rims a bit, just add some chrome lug nuts or get some snap on chrome beauty rings and chrome lug nuts.

yeah, I like the trim rings, but I think the shipping to Germany might be pricey. I'll look into it.I may also go with chrome lug nuts because the black started coming off of my lug nuts the very first time I tightened them on there and now I have a lovely rust color everywhere the wrench made contact.

Replace the mounting screws with stainless. I can see the rust running down the side of the door.

Did the chrome step bumper brackets line up with the truck frame? Mine did not.

Hillbilly Drink Holder Hack:

Bench seat with no console provides no place for a cupholder, especially in a cab with shifters on the hump.
I remember the old school cupholders that hung on the side window frame. lol
Anyhow, I found this cheap twin cupholder / organizer and cut out one of the drink wells.

Now I have a secure place to park my coffee cup, as well as a spot to collect small items from rattling around inside the cab.

I admit this isn't a high tech upgrade...just a bit more cruising comfort while I dream of bucket seats and a console.

I like that Hill Billy Hack
Wish my over drive & NP435 were not so close together and back so far that I could do the same thing

A buddy took 2 - 3" metal header collector gaskets, used 3" or 4 " spacers and long screws.
Went through the gasket, spacer and screwed it to the floor on the hump.
He now has 2 cup holders and they dont look all that bad.
I still dont have the room for that either

I finally installed my OEM dual battery harness that I pulled from a '77 F250 Camper Special. Just need the battery now. Also, intalled the floorboard courtesy lights. I love finding and installing original parts.

Are you talking about my truck? There are no rust marks running down my new paint. I will eventually swap those mirror screws out, but for now as long as they're holding, I'm ok with them. I don't want a show truck just one that looks and runs decent. As for the bumper, it was on there when I bought it. I don't know if the PO drilled new holes or what he did.

This one from O'Reilly's is pretty small and fits well. I mounted it with magnets, but I imagine you could do similar with velcro. It fits pop cans up to 40oz water bottles pretty well.
