First thing today I removed the steal motor mounts, this will allow me to blast them and get them ready for powder. Latter today after I get home from work I plan to mount the tranny mount.

Abandoned till spring. Which around here is usually in May.

I looked at mine all tucked away nice and comfy in a 50 degree garage with the battery tender hooked up just waiting on spring. Knowing me, I will be in the garage again today, so I wll look at it a few more times. I can't wait for nicer weather, so I can get it out and enjoy it some more. 31 days till spring if I am counting right!!!

A few days ago, I put a new scuff plate on the passenger side, and I am getting ready to put window felts in on that side along with a door speaker, and run wiring to a new stereo I am going to get. Oh yeah, I can't forget the window vent!

I also got the correct antenna on the way since mine is snapped off. Its a case of always a work in progress. :-X22

Well, I didn't do anything today :( but last weekend i put in the new gas tank and hooked up the steering and put on the new WARN hubs. This weekend I plan on hooking up the gas tank and finishing the breaks :D Then I will be able to drive it and am going to wash it.

A couple of days ago I modded my 4x4 shift lever to accomodate the original 4x4 knob and got rid of the D***E knob. Looks much better!

And hopefully, if the roads are dried out enough tomorrow, I'm going to take her out for a cruise to my buddies house and help him with his 65 Stang.

But for today, I'll just go out to the garage and admire her. :-X22

I walked past my '79 F350 on the way to get in my 05 F150 to go to work this morning.

If it wasn't for the fact that the brakes don't work, it has a bad u-joint, a bad death wobble, a knocking motor, a slipping trans, and one burned-out headlight, I would have drove it...

And by the way, I did drive it to work yesterday. That's when the headlight burned out and I decided to park it until I get some things fixed. Hopefully it can come into the garage tonight to start on a long list of repairs...

Ahh, for all you poor fools in the snow - it's 80* here today:-X22

But my fords aren't running right now so they are tucked away in the shop just as if I lived in a snow covered area.

As for what I'm doing...

Here is the 74 crew getting a cummins - currently I am cursing it!

Don't mind the 1st page of pis - I changed the photobucket pic locations and since we can't edit old threads here I can't fix it:rolleyes:

I'm not doing this work on the 74 supercab - but here is what is happening with it right now. I will own the mold for these fenders and can make more sets if people are interested.

Oh - and the front suspension will be widened to fill out the flares too!

I am about to go outside and replace the Steering stabilizer shock. :P Its 45 degrees and sunny here though so a great day for it! :-D

I'm working on putting a cummins into my F-250. Over the weekend I cut a few holes in my core support for the intercooler outlets to fit through. I also made the mounts for the intercooler, along with having to modify the hood latch to fit everything.

Today I'll be pressure testing the intercooler, it has a few pinholes in it. :-banghead But the guy I bought it from swears up and down it held 50 psi from his cummins engine before he pulled it for a larger one.

Bought new tires For her yesterday, Built a Twin Stick shift box for the NP203 with a part time kit in it, Because I couldnt get the stock shifter to work till I realized when I was putting the new twin stick box back in that the rods were hooked up wrong. Oh Well I enjoy building stuff for my new Wood hauler.

Tonight I am going to Fix the fuel gauge, and probably look at the rusty bed some more.

Yesterday i got the passenger side exhaust manifold on her, and tonight i will get the drivers side manifold off my parts truck and start installing it on the '74. Its almost road worthy.
