josh, i dont really believe you have to do all that. they are being super careful. unless something drastic has changed since i messed around with my 74. i believe you can do it dude.
If it is for the Dana, there is no crush sleeve. Use a 1 5/16 (I believe) socket to take off the yoke, pry out the old seal, pound in the new one (I have a lot of old bearing races of different sizes for this job), you can reuse the old nut in a pinch, but be sure to use red Loc Tite, and borrow a torque wrench from the Autozone that is capable of torquing the pinion nut to spec. You are then done!

I'm going to invest in a 2 dollar solution here.
2 Dollars to get into a junkyard... and practice on some of the trucks
Smart man, keep an eye out for the Dana 70 under the Dodge Diesels. They have a 1410 yoke and are pretty hard to come by. You could hold on to it for future projects. You may also want to pick up a spare yoke from the junk yard in case yours has a groove worn into it.
Seeing as how I manage to always have small parts fall into my pocket. Like Bleeder stems, fuses, and occasionally things such as lug nuts, rear view mirrors, and trim pieces (ford logo, that kinda stuff)
The way I see it, i've paid for them already :P (stupid 2 dollar fee)
By the way. we need to beat 499 posts in this thread. we made it to 499 in the 1.0 version of September chat thread, before it was shut down... So lets see if we can beat that haha
