brown thing is park brake assembly and if i had to guess the pink wire is probably for the brake light in the dash and needs tucked back up out of the way
i stay away from dirt bikes and the crotch rockets...them things will kill me.
put me on something that will jump 20 ft in the air or pull the front tire up at 75mph and i'm dumb enough to do it so i bought a cruiser a couple years back.

eventually all the little things like rusty park brake brackets and worn out pedle covers will get fixed. first gotta get it alittle more road worthy
