Yea it does.
About like it did when I rode my bike to where I work the other day....it was barely raining so I thought I'd ride over there, but I didn't stop to consider that my bike would sling water and gravel off the back tire and get it all over the back of my shirt and pants as I rode along. lol

Well at least I got there. It was a BMX bike I was riding (my preferred mode of transportation currently), so I jumped a curb as I was crossing an intersection, and though my front tire made it and was continuing on its way, my back tire didn't like that idea, so instead of following, it caught the edge of the curb and tried to pass me by. Fortunately I have quick reflexes and good brakes, since this happened as a car passed right beside me.

I love that idea, but if you are going to put the work in you should think about a 5 speed 87-97 tranny. That would get you an over drive for highway MPG.

That'd be the ZF trans, right? Will it bolt up to a factory 302 in an '81? That OD would be nice.
I wonder, if I tune my truck up just right and convert to a manual (either 4 or 5 speed), if I could hit that magic number.....20 mpg?
