I've reached a point where I have to re-apply my focus on my home and family much more intentionally than I have been for the past couple of years. My family is not yet at a true crisis point, but I have to "stop the bleeding" so-to-speak before it gets there, and it is simply going to consume a lot more of my time than I've been giving.
I will continue monitoring my PM's and will continue making covers, but not much more than that.
I'm going to miss the fellowship we have here, but my family comes first, and I've simply let that true focus slip too much from where it needs to be on a practical daily basis... It's been sort of like trying to hit a target you're shooting at with BOTH eyes open... you just can't guarantee dead center shots without the proper focus!

what everyone else said Pete. do what you have to do. we will be here when you need us.
on a side note, i got my ITP over boost annihilator and the 4 new IC boots installed, and just got back from a test run.
i took the chevy duramax driver from down the street with me to get parts for his camaro.
he swallowed his gum when it chirped the tires in third at 65mph. i got out of it at 100, and that was only at about the 1000 ft mark.
BTW, i hit 32 lbs on the boost gauge 3 times do far
if i'm gonna keep this crap up, i think i better get the pyrometer hooked up before i melt something, huh???
the gauge has been in the truck and wired for 9 months now.
i put it in before i broke my ankle.
i just have to figure out where i'm gonna mount the thermocouple.
We are all good since there is nothing Chris would not do. haha
Anyone seen or heard from Sheldon lately?
Haha, there a few things.
Nope havent heard from him, but didnt he say he can start working now?
Maybe hes just busy with that.

you should get that hooked up, you will be surprised how fast the pryo gauge gets up there.
Pete, put a DP in your truck. you will have no problem seeing boost then.
If you want to finance it I'll be glad to. Til then we have to wait til I get work and then get paid to where I can pay my bills and have enough left over for toys.
I've got to head to Northfield, CT tomorrow to pick up that 6.0 trans cooler. $150 for that. I think I'll wait to put it on til I'm driving the truck though just so I can get an idea of how much it really does lower trans temps.
And...
We got a new (to us) toy today!!
It's a 2001 Bell 6x6 articulated haul truck. Bell actually produces Deere's articulated haul trucks and the parts are interchangeable. So in short they're the same machine, but the one that says "Deere" on the side is magically worth 50,000$ more. No pics yet because I still don't have my camera in hand, but dad reminded me where I put it so I'll get pics when I go back down there later. For now you guys will have to settle for a link to a similar machine.
