Part VI
Clay they can definitely credit his old posts and rep to his new account. These forums run on Vbulletin. I'm an admin on another set of forums that uses Vbulletin and I can go into accounts there and edit post counts and reps.
Well, y'all I'm gonna be off to see that guy about the 6.0 trans cooler a bit later on. I'll be back later. I'm gonna try to get some oxidation off the ADT today.
thanks for everyones concerns. I will be fine.
I wasn't looking for a job when that one was offered. I loved working at my old place but health insurance cost was killing me and finances were jacked up from moving form Calif to Wash by the time everything settled down I was out of money and was going to start losing everything.
Out of the blue Parr Ford called and offer me a job with better Insurance and some bennies so it was about a 2k plus swing, as much as I hated to leave Millinium I needed to take care of the family. It was a no brainer.
It was fine for the first year there, I cleaned up the dept got rid of all the obsolete parts (100k) and started teaching the counterpersonal how to run a parts dept.
Even with the economy the way is as been going the last two years I had sales and gross percentages and true dollar increases from prior years.
They hired a new contoller and she ........... lets just say we don't need to reinvent the wheel. we didn't see eye to eye and without going to much detail some conversations were not purdy. bad part is the GM and owner were usally there too, I could talk myself blue and I was not able to explain to them where they could understand what or how or why somethings needed to be done this way or that way.
I would explain it to another parts manager or Inventory company and they would confirm they way I was doing it was correct. Even turns out many times they would search for the answer on there own and were told they same thing, I was doing it correctly.
bad/good part is I care so much about taking care of all parts customers and running a clean profitible dept I take things too personal and will stand my ground if I believe I'm am right or a situation is wrong.
not a good thing sometimes.
well someone out there will want a parts manager that cares enough about there parts department and the customers I will get a job or I know enough people I might have to try to do something on my own, just have to think how I can pull it off.
thanks everyone i'll keep you updated.
life has a funny way of getting your attention. lol

Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
She was devasted....for about two months. Then, she got hired at Anadarko Petroleum and her career took off. She went from IT tech to IT Inventory Control Manager in about six months.
Guess who had the last laugh? That's right, Susan did.
You will too....trust me.
Oh, one more thing. That manager who fired her at R&M? He got fired himself a couple of months later. I was there when they walked his little bitch *** out. I let him know, that if I see him on the street, that he is now fair game.
Sweet.
You are the best at what you did, and I've have personally told you that before on numerous occasions and it still goes.
We are all here for you if you need anything....

I am speachless.
I am so sorry for my customers that have pending orders,
I wont go into great detail in the open forum.
Let just say that since the new office controller got here last year she has been less then easy to work with.
I will land on my feet somewhere and be back to sponsoring this great forum. in the mean time I created a new user ID and will keep in touch.
I never really did fit into their corporate atmosphere.
So being/trying to be a professional I will try to not say anymore about this here.

Stand your ground no matter what. She will probably end up gone sooner or later with the kind of decision making skills she has...
