His Diary / Her Diary

HER DIARY:

Tonight, I thought my husband was acting weird. We had made plans to meet at a bar to have a drink. I was shopping with my friends all day long, so I thought he was upset at the fact that I was a bit late, but he made no comment on it.

Conversation wasn't flowing, so I suggested that we go somewhere quiet so we could talk. He agreed, but he didn't say much. I asked him what was wrong; he said, 'Nothing.' I asked him if it was my fault that he was upset. He said he wasn't upset, that it had nothing to do with me, and not to worry about it.

On the way home, I told him that I loved him. He smiled slightly, and kept driving. I can't explain his behavior. I don't know why he didn't say, 'I love you, too.' When we got home, I felt as if I had lost him completely, as if he wanted nothing to do with me anymore. He just sat there quietly, and watched TV. He continued to seem distant and absent.

Finally, with silence all around us, I decided to go to bed. About 15 minutes later, he came to bed. To my surprise, he responded to my caress, and we made love. But I still felt that he was distracted, and his thoughts were somewhere else. He fell asleep - I cried. I don't know what to do. I'm almost sure
that his thoughts are with someone else. My life is a disaster.

HIS DIARY:

Harley wouldn't start today can't figure it out, but at least I got laid.
I have heard the same joke, except where the guy misses a big buck instead of his harley not starting.

You people are the best. I don't know what how I'd get through this mess without all of you. I know that the odds are very much stacked in my favor but I the judge is a person and you never know how they will react.

Not a bad run for you Ray. Is the trailer all loaded up?

For some reason I thought that you were pulling one back. I'm actually sniffing around for an enclosed one now. Not to much around here though. The ones that I have seen are junk and they want big $$ for them. The house here is sold so when it's time I'll be needing one to move.

If you find somewhere that has decent ones let me know.

I'm going to be needing a 16' or so enclosed trailer with a ramp style rear and preferably with a side door.

DOT can't ticket you for what they can't see. You know that a DOT approved gas can costs like 175 bucks?! Plus enclosed helps prevent theft without having to lock each individual thing down.

Jim, look out in the country for a used cattle trailer. It should be easy enough to fill the gaps between the slats to make it closed in enough for the move.

Jim when you're down here we'll have to stop by the trailer dealer. They've got a pretty fair number of trailers. Unfortunately they like their horse trailers best. Fancy overpriced things they are.

We could certainly see what they may or may not have for used inventory.

Thanks Mark. Between the house selling and the ins co finally getting ready to settle it is a good thing. We are thinking of Texas the Houston Conroe area.

We are thinking of down south. I don't want to deal with the cold anymore.

I'll let you know Pete. I'm thinking of a 16' to 20' for the move. One ramp door in the back is fine.

That;s a good idea Chris plus if we do move to Texas it may be easier to sell it there.

Yes it will be. I'm not kidding when I say we'll go right past the place on the way from my house though.

And Jake those pictures just made my day.
