Nick poison oak SUCKS!!!! Big time. Be careful what you scratch and what you "handle" afterwards.

I'm doing good, Nick. I think I'm getting some poison ivy though.

I did some rotary mowing on Friday followed by a bit of mowing with the 42" crapsman rider so I probably got it then. But it was worth it because once everything greens up and I cut it one more time I'll have an awesome spot for getting a few truck pictures.

I am going to try to get dad to take me down to look at the 95 7.3 one more time just to give it a quick look over before we do anything with it.

We got a front axle for a dually conversion already. We got it for free off a guy we know who we gave a totaled truck to.

I'm thinking we're going to get the tires and rims off another totaled truck we had.

Both were totaled by the same guy but at least they'll get put to use now.

Currently it's a 95 F350 SRW 4x4 with service body and fisher plow mount.

We're going to put duals on it and then an aluminum flatbed and 5th wheel hitch. Then either an 8' straight blade Fisher or, what I'm angling for, a Fisher V-plow. Then hopefully all in time we'll get an Airflo sander for it too.

A Whelen light bar is going to have to go on too.

Sorry for being on-topic in the OT thread, guys!

I guess Ive been lucky throughout my life with poison oak and ivy. When I was younger I rolled around in the ivy and never had a problem. Done it a few times since and nothing happened!

Definitely gotta watch what you handle though. Im sure it spreads easily to different places!

You're lucky, Tristan.

I get it pretty bad at least once or twice a year.

Last year was when I was running an open station T190 Bobcat with a rotary mower I got poison ivy up both my arms and under my chin. That stunk.

LOL

Sure, Ed. Keep thinking that.

If I wore that I'd have someone calling the police because there was a UMO across the street that was being piloted by an alien. (Unidentified Mowing Object)

Also their little thing said nothing about poison ivy.

Pete, sorry to hear about the speedy heart. Give the doctors a chance to do their voodoo and you will be fine. Are they thinking medication or shock? Did they tell you what your ejection fraction was?

I know exactly what you are going through. Back in September I spent a week at the Mayo clinic getting my heart rate back to normal and getting a sinus rhythm. The docs certainly knew what they were doing. Can't believe how much better I feel now.

Yeah, you are young to be having problems like this. But life will certainly be better when they get it under control.

I'm out rotary mowing at least every other week. If we had any kind of $ I'd try to get us a very low slung 4x4 tractor with a full cab on it. Then I'd get some expanded steel and mount it an inch or so away from the rear window to protect against rocks and branches and such and it'd be all good. I'd also put a large radiator guard on it.
