Those rims are going to look sweet on your truck. What type of tire are you going to go with?

 

I think BFGs. I was going to try pro-comps...but...4wheel parts doesn't sell the Ballistic wheels, and I dont want to get wheels from one joint and tires from another and have to take them somewhere to have them mounted/balanced.

Discount tire sells the Ballistics. Free mount/balance when you buy wheels and tires, and free shipping. That deal is like a sore Peter, you can't beat it. Discount sells the BFGs and I am just thinkin, I have BFG's now and with my old wheels I have a perfectly good set of spares I can use.

 

That is very smart thinking! 4 spares. That is a great deal. I'm not looking forward to having to get tires, I'll need 6.

 

So far I got an Ice cream cake, and ten bucks. Julies coming down this weekend though so that should be fun...

Morning all. Hope your weekend was better than mine. I have a little pic below of where I got to spend about half of yesterday.

Thanks, Tristan. Yeah. I guess I'm OK. First time this has ever happened to me... I woke up at 6, 8, and then got up at 9:30 yesterday... all three times feeling like my heart was going to race out of my chest. First two times I thought it was just a response to sitting up and getting up too quickly... third time I started checking my pulse and found it extremely erratic and skipping beats. Scared us all there.

My oldest son drove me to the neighborhood fire station (2.5 miles away) and they hooked me up and said I was experiencing atrial fib. They said even though it wasn't a dire emergency, I needed to go the the ER and get checked out more thoroughly. The ER confirmed the a-fib but for over two hours I was completely back in normal rythm, so they said I neeed to be seen this week by a cardiologist and determine the next step with the doc. I'll see him on Friday morning.

I've been ok since, but it has shaken me up a bit, to be completely honest. I can't even explain how it has affected me, but it's like some really strange mixture of fear and deperession all mixed together, and I am NOT one to typically worry over things like this at all. It just feels very, very strange, to say the least.

 

Pete take care of yourself. Just relax until you see the doc.

I think what got my attention the most was when the ER doc, knowing that I'm pretty much a desk-jockey right now, took a long pause before saying whether or not I could even come to work today. Don't know if he did that deliberately jsut to make his caution have greater impact, or if he really wasn't sure... either way... it worked.

 

I know how you feel, Pete. One night my heart just started racing and it scared me to death. Took IV plunge medication to stop it. Hospital said it was SVT (supra ventricular tachycardia) but then cardiologist diagnosed me with Wolfe-Parkinson White Syndrome. I had RF Ablation last March to get rid of it. I was way too young to take a pill once a day the rest of my life, especially since I had a choice.

I dont know what they do for A-fib, but hopefully they can get you on the right track asap!
