That is so dang kewl Jim. i was blessed with a homeless man last night about 1030 so I had to help him get settled get the police dept. stuff taken care of and then I hit the bed. I got up this morning to cats 3 taking my cowhide rug out of my room (they love that rug) I thanked God for keeping me around even though I do not really deserve it sometimes and I got up and fixed this man breakfast and left chocolate bunnys outside each guests room. Turns out this man is a Christian and asked if he could help to repay for his room and he does construction. I cannot charge for a room in cases like this but he is just a kewl old man to talk to. So he is cutting some wall panels for me. So I made a new friend today, well last night. They found his son and he is coming to pick him up in a few hours. They live 8 hours away. Just an amazing day.
Life is perty dern good!
ya see Moose, as the old saying goes, you reap what you sew. your one good deed was just multiplied many times over.
Wire can be pulled out the end. It is not turning the shaft that the feed wheel is on for some reason. Maybe lost a shaft keeper or something. Hopefully not a gear or something. It is a Hobart.
Never fooled with a hobart. Always ran millers and the feed wheels on them have 3 splines that hold the gears to feed the wire....no way of stripping. Hope ya get it figured out.
Happy Easter, Birthdays and everything else to everyone!
Well everyone, I'm gonna go 10-7 for the day, as it's my bed time. Again I wish you all a great holiday spent with family, loved ones, and friends. Mongo out.
Once again, I love me some oysters. Fried or stewed, never had them raw though. Gonna try that some day.
here's a tip- I loved cooked oysters too, but don't try raw oysters while drunk with a gut full of beer. Well, at least it wasn't the best turnout for ME LOL....

I love 'em raw, with horseradish and cocktail sauce. Also love them barbecued (this is Texas!), fried, or steamed with butter and garlic.

It's rainy and windy here in Southeast Texas. We are expecting violent thunderstorms later today. Hopefully I will be able to get some good video footage for another video project that I am working on.
On today's menu:
Fried Catfish
Fried Oysters
Outlaw's Famous Potato Salad
Sweet Corn on the Cob
Cheesecake
Can't wait for the first real good boomer up here. I love thunderstorms.
That's a good looking menu Scott.
We had:
Ham
Potato salad
Taco salad
Deviled eggs
Cheesecake
And then it was an Easter egg hunt for the kids. They had a great time with that.
Evening y'all. Easter was alright for me, I went to see my grandparents and see aunts, uncles and cousins. I did get a ride in my uncles 06 mustang. OH MAN that was fun! I had a big chit eating grin on my face for at least 5 minutes after the ride.
Dont forget to wear your stretchy pants today man!
Good thing I lost a ton of weight. I never would have made it through today if my my pants were the right size

Jim, great job on surpirsing your girl.
Mark, thanks for the laugh, I needed it!
Well folks, chalk up another missed holiday to my love for the Corps. So far it's been 2 Thanksgivings, 2 Christmases, 2 new Years Eves, 2 Saint Patty's Days, 2 Valentines Day, 2 Easters, and many assorted birthdays. Can't complain there are man who missed more, at least I got my "Brothers" out here with me. Tonight we had round pieces of (um, canned?) turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, peas, gravy, and cranberry sauce. I am friggin' stuffed to the gills! Time to get comfy- not taking a shower because of the hellacious sand storm currently shaking the hooch, not worth trading sweat for looking like a sugar cookie- and watch a movie. I hope you all enjoy this special holiday with friends and family and always remember the true significance of the day that Christ rose!
