I know what you mean, Pat. Still, the concept you were going for is not a bad one, and I wouldn't throw it out altogether as long as you can keep from getting soaked in the deal (sorry... didn't intend THAT pun... just sort of dripped out... I mean SLIPPED out).

Seriously, though, it can be a good way to advance yourself financially if you can invest the time. Take the lessons learned from this one and move forward.

Hey everyone.

Been in value stream meetings all day. Am about to head to a Maintenance review meeting.

I briefly saw some of your posts to me and will respond as soon as I can. Didn't want y'all to think I was blowing you off.

Talk to you soon....

I gotta be honest with ya, Ed.

I find a lot more comfort in going there and they put the parts on the counter and they give me an invoice and I pay them and leave with my parts right then and there rather than sending $ for parts and waiting a few days.

Plus I don't have to try to figure out what part # it is I need when I go there. I just tell them what I have and what I need and they get me exactly what I need.

And it's kinda comforting to me that at least some of the $ I spent on parts is going to go back into the local economy.

I will be ordering my cup holders from you though since nobody seems to have them in stock ever.

Ive always been a little hesitant buying stuff that I cant see or touch too. Unfortunately for guys like us Pete, thats the way of the future!

I have bought stuff like that before though, and have only had a couple of bad experiences (ebay!)

I was beginning to think you were ignoring me.

Pete, what you are saying here is "seeping" with truth and wisdom..and maybe I just needed a "splash" in the face to keep me moving..And they say, once you get your feet "wet", it should be easier to "dive in"..

I don't need an ashtray. My 99 has a separate cup holder and ashtray. I need cupholders and you're getting my order I just haven't gotten around to it quite yet.

Just got back from Cheyenne & getting tags on the trailer. Overall very easy:

1. get it weighed at truck stop
2. all police & have Deputy come to same truck stop & complete VIN verification form
3. downtown to MVA to deal with 1 nice young woman & 1 crabby old goony-monkey
4. $48.71 total, not including fuel for tags good thru 11/2010!

kinda beat, so i'm gonna take a nap

oh yeah, as for the will thing, definitely get one if you have kids or anything of significant value. My Dad grew up in the Great Depression (born 1930) so he was always on top of that stuff fortunately.

To be honest the beach isn't quite my thing.

I've got the part # of what I need already. I don't want a direct replacement for the old ones. They sucked.

Congrats on losing weight, Ed.

I've got to drop a few now that winter is over. I was down to the mid-high 150s before and now I'm up to the mid-high 160s. I was up in the 190s at one point.

Should be a little easier since we're having soccer not-practice every Wednesday starting after spring break which starts Friday.

Technically we can't have "practice" according to league rules, but if we call it "soccer plus" and don't limit it to just the team then we're allowed to have it.

You lost 50 lbs Ed, thats awesome!

Ive been on a eating plan the last month and it really works. Im not so much trying to lose a bunch of weight, more like just get on track with the eating, and get back in shape a little more, like I was before i tore my acl out.

Lots of exercise, almost too much haha.

Edit. Pete how tall are ya?
