Good morning everyone!
Happy Birthday Lisa!!! I will be there with my bow on in just a bit!!!
I need some of your who are computer guru's to help me out if possible. I think I have that oh so fun april fools worm, conficker I think it is. I can't access my anti virus software or go to microsofts website to DL updates. I am having to run this in safe mode, if I try to run it like normal I get a blue screen and it dumps my memory. I am trying to figure out how I can get rid of this without having to take it down somewhere and have it fixed. Although that is a lil bit hard when I can't access my anti virus. lol.
I saw something on the news lastnight about having someone who isn't infected with this DL something and email it to the infected person. I am going to see if I can find that somewhere. I am glad both of my computers weren't infected.

I am just too computer stupid to really do anything about it. I did find some software that came with the lap top when I bought it that I am going to load on it right now, it's Windows Live Onc Care, an all in one security and performance service since I can't get to my own anti virus. Hopefully that will help me.

I worked on my dads last night for about 4 hours trying everything to fix it. I even tried to format it,but it wouldn't even let me do that. Im pretty sure that is what was wrong with his. He is takiing it to a friend of his today and having it fixed. I normaly don't get mad messing with a computer,but last night I wanted to through it out i the yard.

Thanks for trying to help me Tristan! I couldn't use either link you sent, damn puter has a mind of it's own today. It actually has had a mind of it's own since like midnight lastnight.
I am ready to run this damn thing over with my truck and just go buy a new one. I am so fed up it is taking everything I have not to use a whole bunch of not nice words right now. 
I think I am just going to have to call a place and see what they would charge to fix it. I am at a loss as to what to do. I tried to install the software I have but I can't do it in safe mode and the effing thing won't run in anything else.

Everything was turned on that I know of, I try to keep my anti virus up to date, always run scans and updates. Guess I messed up somewhere..... Go figure, me the forever screw up screwed something up, AGAIN..... I am going to just take it down to Best Buy and have the geek squad try to fix it since I am clueless. Thanks for the help guys didn't mean to take over the OT on Lisa's bday.
