I'll tell ya, my truck has proven itself to be quite the snow machine this winter. I would definitely recommend.
I'll never own another FWD car or minivan. But like we've said before sister...it ain't all the truck, some of it's the chick behind the wheel.

Now there you go with that woman mentality again...knowing exactly which buttons to push and doing such. Now, it's not your fault that he's slow at his profession. Where as your so efficient you get done early and head to the house.

Well, just finished cleaning the kitchen after dinner. Then got the last of the laundry put up so I'm caught up for a couple of days. Beginning to think this "house slave" gig ain't all it's cracked up to be.

I get that. Not so much with shovelling snow, as she was out there this year, knocked up and all. But it's more with bringing in the garbage cans after the collection when she gets home from work.
Every week, she drives around the empty garbage cans and pulls in to the garage, leaving them for me to put away.
Evening, all. Preparing for this snow storm we're supposed to be getting. Should be interesting to say the least. Sustained winds to 29mph gusts to 58mph.

hey pete... feel free to send it to me... i want more...
i wish i had more... all the stuff we got is almost completely gone now.. i just have like 2 or 3 bumps left from where i piled all the snow in the yard from the driveway...
10" ? what the hell, I think I saw nothing more then 5.5".
Woke up, snow blowed my neighbors and our yard, got the wifes car brushed off ( not cleaned ) and headed into work. I was going to argue with the wife over who stayed home with the kids, but got this gut feeling today, it was a good call, one of my guys called in.
Didnt realize how bald my old tires were until today, I hooked up real well in two wheel all the way here.
Good For you Lisa, although I can relate to what others are saying here..some of the things my wife does leave and expects me to follow up on.
Garbage cans from the street.
Garbage taken from the kitchen can ( whether I am home or not, it sits and waits ) If it does come out of the can for what ever reason, the garbage bag sits at the back door waiting for me to take it outside.
Anything that has to go down stairs, doesnt matter what it is, she stacks it on the top of the stairs and expects that I will carry it down.
Anything that is supposed to come up the stairs, it is stacked at the bottom of the stairs waiting for me to haul it up.
Jobs I expect her to do.. Detail cleaning.. I have no eye for Detail, I vacuum, I pick up, I do dishes ( so does she ) but when it comes to finding a place for envolopes ( garbage if it is up to me ) it is all her..

I was "efficient" because I came home sick.

You guys don't know the whole story. I have shoveled that damn driveway every single snowstorm this winter with little to no help. Not doing it anymore.
BTW, I bring up the trash cans every week...even yesterday when I felt like warmed over death.

Morning Pat. Yes. I came home around noon and went straight to bed. Slept until 5, got up and made some dinner, watched the Biggest Loser and then went back to bed. Feel pretty good today. Can't afford to be sick the next three days..got a lot goin down at work. We've been planning a big awards banquet and a bunch of meetings/training classes and we have agents coming in from all over the country. Thursday and Friday are going to be 14-15 hour days, easily.

How is everything going for you?
Take care of yourself first girl.. Your job is not worth your health, and if you run yourself to far down, it will be worse for you and your work..
Doing good.. Still waiting on parts from last week . But doing good. Can not wait to get home today, hope to drag the boys out to a sledding hill ( after I pick up my garbage cans )
Well in that case, I'll be nice. Feeling under the weather stinks. Hope you feel better soon.

I thought everyone in IA has a tractor/ATV with a push blade for clearing their driveway? I bring this up because I'm the type of guy that thinks stuff like car/truck maintenance, clearing the driveway, mowing the yard and etc...is the man of the house's job. But then I don't know the whole story behind your situation...and really don't need to know, it's none of my business.
