That is awesome weather Pat. Back into the 30's for a few days for us. Not much construction here but not what your area is seeing...or not seeing I guess.

It will get stained, but should weather for at least the summer(IMO) before doing so. Some of that treated lumber is extremely wet, I don't think it would take stain very well.

Tell me about it. Construction is almost non existent, soooo many people vying for soooo few jobs.
I was just looking at the map.. I seen that for you.. Thats mine ( I guess ) for the next couple of days.. Are you getting the rain.. I failed to look at that.
it still looks nice mike. i was teasing when i said that. the front of my house faces the east and my driveway is on the north side of the house. some kid running from the police slammed into my race car in my driveway pushing it into my living room moved my couch about a foot. my front porch is part of that corner of my house. it didn't hurt my race car any but sure screwed the house up.and the porch. it was 4'x14' now its 6'x14'.
it was quit the mess. to the tune of about 10k worth of damage. that was 2 years ago.
No rain here, it seems like it could (actually snow) though.
We hearing that for Sunday.. snow..

yes we were. me and erin were in the back bedroom at the time. when it happened. so nobody got hurt. scared the crap out us and the cats. it was bad. but we got it all fixed
and its back to normal. the only thing he did to my car was put paint on the back bumper. the kids car look like he hit a pole it was done. antifreeze, oil, tranny fluid. theres 1/8" plate steel welded on the inside of the back bumper. my insurance under my home owner covered the car, they estimated that at 1000$ for paint on my bumper...

I know Jack, no big deal, just thought I'd explain why the deck was small, it's 6' x 9'9" plus the 3 steps.
HOLY CRAP!!!! Could have been a lot worse, at least the only thing hurt was some metal and lumber.

I am happy with all the work we did there and the homeowners are too, which is all that matters to me. After all, they are the ones that will be looking at/using it every day.
