Good Morning All.. A light dusting today, I am getting robbed of My winter Olympics here.. I love the morning comute event on snowy roads, just not happening this year.

 

same here Pat. call was for 2-5 inches, we got a dusting.

 

Strange year with the weather.. Its funny though, the farmers almanac predicted less snow. Who knew that thing could actually predict the weather, last year it even stated we were going to get more..Might just have to pay it a little more attention next year.

Morning everyone, no snow here. But it's quite cool around here the last couple of days. I really don't like that rodent in PA anymore.

 

We got a dusting by 6 am... now it up to about 2 inches but we were supposed to get 4"-8"

 

yeah, what Jim said...lol

 

Just finished cleaning up from the snow we got overnight and it started coming down again. Maybe 2" since I got everything plowed.

So here's my stupid CT driver story for today.

First let me describe the road. My road is off the left hand side of a pretty steep hill. As I turned on to the hill my road is off of I saw a sedan sideways across the road maybe 15' below where I turn on to my road. I was going up the hill but I slowed down stopped and put my hazard lights on. F150 comes down the hill and stops maybe 10' on the uphill side of my road and puts his hazards on. So we're both stopped there as this sedan is struggling for the traction to back into the driveway. So this little VW comes down the hill and goes AROUND the F150 at probably 15mph (Guesstimate) then realizes "huh I guess these guys were both stopped for a reason!" So he slams on his brakes and puts his car into the curb on the corner of my street and this hill. The sedan that was trying to back up manages to back up enough that this moron can pass by. The sedan gets himself into his driveway enough that everyone who was stopped at this point can get past so I dropped my blade and angled it left and made 2 passes so this guy wasn't fighting the snow to get into his driveway and went on my way.

Some people just DON'T get it.

Sup folks? Hadnt stopped by in a while, so I figure I'd see whats going on. It looks like the topic of discussion is SNOW.....
Damn I'm tired of it!!!! I had enough after the first storm we got back in December and my Yota tried to make love to a tree. Lets just say that was one serious piece of wood....
So I been having to drive the PSD in all this mess. I've been keeping an eye out for a blade for the front but knowing my luck if I did get one, we wouldnt have a winter like this for another 10 years.
