Hey Lisa, I haven't been paying attention to the forecasts for ya'll up that way....but are ya'll supposed get anything off this mess we're supposed to get over the next 24-36 hours? The weather guessers are talking gloom & doom with this one;for the last 2-3 hours they've been crying about how Amarillo is getting hammer and OKC is next.

What amazes me is folks act like it's the end of the world and they don't have enough food in the house to make it 2 days. They'll clear the shelves at the WM & food stores when the "S" word is mentioned in the forecast.

It's not *supposed* to snow until Monday. Of course, it wasn't supposed to snow yesterday either and we got like 3". lol. Not sure if the forecasted snow is part of that same system. Funny, around here, no one notices if the weather is bad. Its expected.

I heard about OKC. They aren't prepared to deal with ice and no one knows how to drive in it. Everyone should just stay home.

They should, but they won't. I guess I'm a fool for not rushing out there and refilling the fridge/freezers and filling all the prescriptions in the house. Oh wait, I've got enough food to make it a week and my house is dual energy (natural gas & electric) so I'll still be able to keep my house warm even if the power goes out. And it's supposed to be back into the 40s by Sunday and 50s by Tuesday.

we got just enough of the four letter word this morning for the city slickers to participate in one giant demo derby on their rush into the city like a hoard of lemmings. 43 wrecks in 1 hour, compared to the normal 10-15.

ARRRRGHHHHHH!!!

My poor kid.. he can not sit for nothing, and this is getting him in more and more trouble. I have just grounded the kid to his room for the weekend, he has already lost his lionell train this week, as well as his nerf guns.

I asked him yesterday why he cant sit, and he told me that he feels like he is going to explode if he sits anylonger.. and I remember that.. I also remeber my room alot.. and the belt.. and the paddel, only 11 more years of school for this one to go..
