Got a new bucket for my skidsteer today. 1yd bucket for loading mulch on trucks. Didn't notice til I was taking pictures that it is currently missing a bolt-on cutting edge. I'll probably run back up to the dealership for an edge tomorrow.
Is it bad that I get this excited about a new bucket? By the way it fit PERFECTLY in the bed of my truck. There was maybe 1/2 inch from the front of the bucket to my toolbox and 1/2 inch from the back to the tailgate. Guy at Bobcat of CT did a great job of loading it. Too bad they sell Bobcat junk there...
I'm sure it's just a different way of looking at things...but why would you want to run that fast on city/state streets/roads with only two wheels and a skid lid? Running 70 mph on my Boulevard is a hairy ride. Maybe I'm a chicken, or need to grow a larger pair; but that just doesn't interest me...running that fast. Now in a GT500....HELL YEAH
you haven't lived til you have gone over 150 on a bike...just sayin
Prior commitment to see 101 Dalmatians live in New York city this weekend. My friend's sister is in it and a bunch of us are going together so I can't really back out of it unfortunately.

I'd agree totally, but then, that's how I'm put together. And not just in a straight line either... I miss trackdays where you're bending in to a turn at 90+.... I've driven a car to 140mph and it's nothing like a bike. Maybe it is the danger factor a little, or the fact that you must be totally involved in a bike.... In a car, especially an automatic... set the AC, put on your favorite music, press skinny pedal on the right side. wheeee....
I used to watch Indy car racing MANY years ago, and then I saw World Rallye racing... WOW!!! Rallye cars are ripping through forest roads, snow, rain, gravel, asphalt... lose a wheel & tire and they don't stop! Roll the car? Push it back on the wheels and go go GO!! THAT is AWESOME to watch. Indy... well.... I can watch a retarded dog chase it's tail - circle circle circle... lacks the intensity and challenge of going so fast that you need a co-pilot to tell you where your next turn is because your speeds are so fast that you need to be moving the car for the next piece of road as you're in the current one. Not like "Oh LOOK!! Another left turn! Who'dathunk!" If you enjoy that, so be it, it just is sorely lacking in variety of challenging conditions to suit me. Driving a car doesn't require the focus of a bike.
As for my comment about the police getting upset... well, from personally knowing many police officers, it always bugged me when they'd talk about going 100mph+, not in a chase, or even on-duty, and nothing ever happened to them. Pulled over maybe, but ticketed? Arrested? Forget it. Never happened. Make it joe/jane citizen though, and you're done for. Not all police are that way, but plenty are, and it's BS.
I think I'm a little angry today... hmmmmm.... I'm gonna go run to burn off some energy. Hope y'all have a great day!
What are ya trying to do, put me outta business? What would happen if everyone had that same attitude?
I mean, how would I pay for my limousine then? And my private Jet
