Good afternoon All....pretty quiet in here today......
Yup. I've done everything I could do today and now I'm bored and likely will be for the remainder of my day.
My list for today was:
Change fluid in plow
Get fuel
And here's what I ended up doing so far:
Changed fluid in plow.
Cleaned up mess left in road by town when they plowed
Got fuel
Make sure guy in Chebby who lost 2 bags of wood pellets off his truck didn't need help.
Now I'm home bored again. Too cold out to do much else.
first day at the new job... but it's *supposed* to be 3 days of "orientation"... if that means 3 days with HR I might as well quit now!!! we'll see how it goes..
Morning everyone....pour yourself a cup of coffee on my tab.

That like so much fun I think I'd do it without pay. I mean that kind of excitement doesn't come along everyday!
At work early this morning, furnace quit last night, about 40 degrees in the house this morning. Hopeful the dog fares ok today. Turns on, blows fine, heating element working, can't figure it out. Don't have landlords number.
If its not back on by the time I get home, dog and I are going to a hotel...

What time do you get off work?
Do you have a meter, and a digital camera?
I have school 5 to 8, but if you want to snap a picture of the electrical diagram on the door of the furnace and do some work over the phone, we might wok this out..
Is it gas or electric heat? Does it have a Presure swtich for the exhaust blower? Does it have an exhaust blower?
Or if you want to get me a model number / serial number, I might be able to look up the info on line, we can go from there.
Sorry to hear about your furnace problems, wish I could help, but I'm HVAC challenged, except for the basics...change filter!
I hear ya, I am too. HVAC not my cup of tea.

Hi Pat. Thank you for your willingness to help. Its electric. Not sure about the pressure switch, but it does have an exhaust blower and that is indeed working.
I give up. If we can't get the landlord to call us back to fix, going to a hotel. I'm tired of being the man in the house.
