There maybe some truth to that...but paint doesn't pull either. But if your doing your PM properly you shouldn't have to worry about the chrome or paint getting you home. I have no plans to add more chrome to my truck...though I would like to get heated mirrors and the marker lights look neat to me.

House is about 85% done!! Comcast is coming out tomorrow to setup cable, internet, & phone. But for today....
