A Kansas farm wife called the local phone company to report her telephone failed to ring when her friends called - and that on the few occasions, when it did ring, her dog always moaned right before the phone rang.
The telephone repairman proceeded to the scene, curious to see this psychic dog or senile lady. He climbed a telephone pole, hooked in his test set, and dialed the subscriber's house.
The phone didn't ring right away, but then the dog moaned and the telephone began to ring.
Climbing down from the pole, the telephone repairman found:
1 . The dog was tied to the telephone system's ground wire with a steel chain and collar.
2. The wire connection to the ground rod was loose.
3. The dog was receiving 90 volts of signaling current when the number was called.
4. After a couple of jolts, the dog would start moaning and then urinate.
5. The wet ground would complete the circuit, thus causing the phone to ring.
Which demonstrates that some problems
CAN be fixed by pissing and moaning.

I don't mind that it's just that they schedule it for me so I don't have a break between the two weeks. I've got to teach driving all week this week and then I've got building searches, alarms, prowlers, and active shooter next week. The active shooter is fun because the cadets all have airsoft guns and I do too. I get to hide in different places in the building and I modify the scenarios as I see fit. They have to try to find me and sometimes they have to try to talk me down or depending on what kind of situation I put them in, they have to engage in firefights with me. It's always fun when they forget to check a closet or behind a door. I usually leave there in the evening bleeding but it's great.
I don't care for Mafia Wars as much, but I play it anyway...lol.
I wasn't the worst in school, but I wasn't the angel either... I managed to graduate with high honors...lol.

I would get off on that, big time. Sounds like a blast. Airsoft guns can hurt a bit, but not anymore than a paintball...or a BB...and I've been hit with both.

I would enjoy the driving school as well!!!!!
Come on down. We'll do the pursuit courses on Thursday and Friday at the speedway....day and night pursuit courses....lots of fun.
The airsoft guns are great when doing these scenarios. They're a lot more realistic than a bunch of grown men and women running around with rubber guns yelling "bang bang" like a bunch of demented Jerry's kids.
The downside is that we teach formation drills and they generally work in groups of four or five. That means that I'm getting shot by four or five of them and I've only got one gun to shoot at them. I did get the academy to splurge though and they got me a full-auto AR-15 airsoft and I can pelt the hell out of the recruits with it..Bwahahahahaha!!!!!!

Right up my alley man....but you already know about all that.
We have a 1911 replica airsoft...its pretty fun to play around with. Only problem with airsofts is the limited range, what, 40 feet?
