Things have been really busy with work and family. Although this week was pretty slow work wise, so I was able to do some catching up. How bout you Jay?
Evening, all. I think I'm getting sick. I've got a sore throat at the moment. Probably didnt help that I was out in the rain overseeding the lawn yesterday.
I went swimming this morning and the pool is only 84 degrees now...gonna need some kind of heater soon...
Does a baseball cap, t-shirt, and a pair of jeans count as rain gear? If it does then yes I did.
It didn't start raining until I was on the back yard. I got both sides and the front done before it started raining, but we only had the seeder for a half day so I had to get it done right then.
And Mark I need to go buy an ice scraper and get some of the wiper fluid that's supposed to work to melt ice, etc cause we'll be getting frost here pretty soon. Getting condensation on the windows every morning now so it's only a matter of time before it freezes.
I call BS on this whole "apple a day" thing. I definitely eat the most apples when I'm working on the orchard in fall yet it never fails that I get sick at least once every fall. And outside of fall I'm rarely ever sick. Allergies yes, but sick no.
Probably doesn't help that I'm dealing with the general public sniffling and sneezing around me all day in fall though.
The apple a day thing is BS..for the most part. People who are healthy, and eat vegetables and fruit and plenty of protein have better immune systems, and get sick less, so that may be the relation.
Speaking of immune systems, that is where the Vitamin C and Zinc come in.
Btw...
I'M GOING TO GO TO THE DOCTOR.
geezz.
I gotta like, you know, make an appointment and stuff. That and I have a new job with new insurance so I gotta figure out 1) where I can go and 2) what my copay will be and all that. Whatever I have it is not life threatening.
I missed this last night, but man Jim, that truck is beautiful.

Not necessarily. Some of the smaller stuff will use backhoe controls instead of excavator controls. That is, left hand controls boom rather than right.
ummm once again you astound me with your knowledge, I have yet to see that. Good info!
Pics from today Pete. My truck, and my buddies Dodge. I know, I know, but it is nice.
EX 120 Hitachi, but you already knew that. I can play on the big toys just fine. Today we had the 120, the 121 Kubota, and a Bomag compactor, not sure what size but about 8' long or so.
Last load of the day. Total yards spread, compacted and graded today= 769yds, to be around 1200 tomorrow afternoon.
No I was thinking since you're all talk it would be more like "OMG... everyone talked him up and all he's dishing out is THIS?!?" Bring on the deck pics, but I only want to see them if they are big... hard... sexy...decks.
I cant help what everyone thinks they know about me, and only a few on here know the real me...
how 'bout big, hard, sexy and wet? And it's actually wood this time, not composite.
